Filter of HOPE
Filter of Hope provides families with a simple, life-saving water filter and shares God's love with them, so they can drink clean water and experience the health and hope they deserve. Around the world, more than two billion people are at risk of developing life-threatening waterborne diseases because they drink contaminated water. When Filter of Hope staff, volunteer teams, and local church partners teach families how to use our $50 water filter, they get immediate access to clean drinking water and experience health for today. And when they are introduced to Jesus, they experience hope for tomorrow. Every day, more than 80,000 Filter of Hope water filters produce up to 20 million gallons of clean drinking water in 65 countries around the world. Filter of Hope is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Visit filterofhope.org for more information.
Food Plants Solutions
We create educational materials that explain what nutritional food is, why our bodies need it and how to grow and use it. We focus on what is often neglected and underutilized plants, plants that are growing in and adapted to their environment, and are high in the most beneficial nutrients. Our materials are designed to empower people, particularly women so that they can make informed choices on what plants to grow and eat that will nutritiously feed themselves and their families. This project is cost-effective, proven to work, sustainable, and enables self-sufficiency.
